CORROSION

This atmospheric piece is laden with a dark dramatic fell to it but yet it is intensely colourful,,,,with just the highlights. in future generations humanity will be able to see these images even more clearly. I wish I was there to see what my mind thinks it will be like..The tiniest specs here could be millions of miles from the next. I hope the viewer sees the depth and intense beauty of the highlights. you see what you see.

Think of a group of metals after being eroded for years, left out in the elements. I do this by burning slightly the edge of the gold, copper and silver papers and adding them onto the next layer......it just works well sometimes. I add just a bit of sparkle to catch the light. Inks are added over the top. in certain areas as the resin is still wet. After they are burnt again and resined . Sealed in.
