I try to imagine the indescribable beauty of Ancient Ireland - of water cascading. What colours sum it up. blues, marines, whites, sparkles of water in the sunset, the moss and vegetation on the slate grey rocks. a variety of precious and man made fabulous materials all encased in epoxy resin and the over painted again to give a feeling of depth and 3 dimensional to the onlooker.
Materials: hints of resin were added to the white water areas to give the appearance of liquid – while gouache, oil pastel, copper powder, hints of gold leaf ,mineral dye powders and tinted chalk paints were laid down on a bed of textured plaster for the rocks 3 d effect
