The crystal clear waters descend from huge volcanic peaks in the mist and the storms.....only to find a journey of powerful erosive force through millions of years of newly formed rock. It is a magical display of all types of minerals thrown up from the ocean floor- the legendary North Atlantic Ridge miles beneath the sea.
In a tribute to the geology and wonder of the Earth I have added many colours that are synonymous with the Earth such as metallic silvers, coppers, black sand and powdery whites. I use lighter washes of over layed paints and mineral pigments and they shone in the light when hung up on your wall. You will always see a different view each time. a new surprise
