The fine detailing of the print of the Toile de Jouy in a variety of patterns has been used for centuries as their ultimate in French Country style. I could have used a classic contrast on the back to highlight the beauty of the colours but I believe sometimes you have to do the opposite and be bold. I love army camouflage so took a bold leap.
It is early days for my new business but I love trying out shocking mixes of pattern. The making on this cushion is superb and is handmade in Kent England in my studio. Every detail has been considered and worked on to create a beautiful luxury item of impeccable make the can be a talking point in a room.
