Water in itself is a fascinating material, almost magical if you think of its ability to feed us and the Natural world - hydrating our ever demanding world. When you add the Force of it over vast distances and then over the edge of a precipice it pure magic with light shining on it for great effect.
The tumbling water picks up the colours of the sky, rocks and forests, a kaleidoscope of jade greens, blues, reds and yellows in tiny instances so the eyes see it and then its gone. I try to capture that magic of from memories of my travels and solitary childhood where nature was a great comfort to me being different.
Many layers of resin trap then precious elements such as coloured mica mineral powders, inks, gold leaf, diamond dust, oil pastels, acrylics, sand and crushed quartz encased forever to create a 3 d effect.
