The mystery of the big white planet has always enthralled me - I look at it with wonder from my bedroom window and imagine the peaks and craters in their shimmery contrast colours of black greys and whites. This came about by magic as the materials I used set so well in the resin and was even more than I hoped for
In building up the layers of colour, each layer is encased in resin to give an almost 3 d effect. A superb array of precious materials, inks, oil pastel, mineral powders in metallic effect create a dazzling two tone effect in various light
