Paradise Lost
Original artwork

The desolate and beautiful landscape of Kerry in Ireland is always an inspiration. The quick changing weather- sun in one corner and a storm approaching on the other side creates the moody magic vista. This was a recent commission for a client and we worked on it together across the miles. I love the collaboration part of my work
Rainstorms, sun and stormy to clear skies - constantly changing in the blink of an eye mean atmospheric dark colours with hints of purples and marine blues, gold leaf textures and silver, sandy textures.
Bits of gold leaf and gold mineral powder hint at the brief sunlight while amethyst dust , inks sand and chalk paints make up the base of the atmospheric colours of Kerry's lonely landscape
