Even with a classic houndstooth pattern, when you see all the colourways on a square " blanket'' and cut it out into a cushion the effect is quite stunning. The tiny houndstooth pattern with the sheen of the silk plus the background colours in subtle shades of browns, pinks, purple, ice blue and sand compliment each other perfectly.
The silk factory in Suffolk made these for me in a stunning range of colours and it gave the weavers and colourists such joy to be let free and help me create wonders in silk.This plus the quality of make each cushion a talking point .
